Client; Abbey Presbyterian Church
Conservation works on-going
The Abbey Presbyterian Church is located at the junction of Parnell Square and North Frederick Street and was built in 1864.
We were commissioned to prepare a Conservation Report for the Church in November 2008, and this provided a strategic overview of the building and identified a schedule of works that are required to maintain it’s current good condition.
Works that are currently on-going at the Church include remedial roofing repairs and a detailed consition survey of the external stone-work and Spire.
In the long term the Church hopes to re-furbish the basement to provide a new focus for the activities of the congregation.
